Recognized as one of the world's leading authorities on voice over,
he mumbles, ”Although I never had the voice for it, I guess my
ears work pretty well.”
Evidently
so. David’s ears are considered the best in the industry and he
is one of the most active voice-over producers, instructors, and speakers
in the country. He began Edge Studio in 1988 and with three locations
now, has produced thousands of voice over productions nationally and
internationally.
His background is unique:
David began his career producing, directing and engineering music artists
ranging from Mel Torme and John Mayer, to Deep Purple and Jose Feliciano.
At the request of his professional voice over clients, he began offering
voice over training sessions in 1991, and in 1992 developed and copyrighted
the first version of the “Voice Over Industry Guidebook”
for voice talent.
With a passion for teaching and producing, Edge Studio transformed in
2000 to exclusively produce, cast, and train voice over.
Voice talent rely on David's perceptive ability to help them find their
full potential – they benefit from his straight-forwardness, detailed
production, and acute ear. Clients and agents also rely on his ability
to pinpoint the right voice talent for their production.
He has produced and engineered for renowned clients such as Cosmopolitan,

Jake
Ninan

Jake is an audio engineer with experience
in recording music, voiceovers, and audio post production. His
weapon of choice is ProTools, but he will adapt to any recording
situation and "make it happen".
Jake started his engineering career at the Hit Factory in New
York. During that time, he worked on major label music releases
with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Celine
Dion, Wyclef Jean, Nas, and Limp Bizkit. The experience allowed
him to learn the breadth of analog and digital recording techniques
on a wide variety of gear, as well as interact with an eclectic
mix of artists, producers and engineers.
Jake also teaches audio engineering at a Manhattan audio trade
school, where his real-life experience helps train future audio
professionals.
When not spending time with his wife and son, Jake plays drums
in the hard rock band, Clyde.

Kerry
Miller

Since
1993 Kerry has worked as a voice over & video producer, specializing
in casting, producing, and editing of web-based training programs,
long-form narrations, and other forms of voice over. Kerry also
has extensive experience as a video editor on both AVID and Final
Cut Pro systems, and an audio editor with Pro Tools and Sound Forge.
Her
work has taken her all over the US, but she makes her home in the
Washington, D.C. area. Projects include producing voice over and
videos for Chevron, GSK, Regions Bank, Chesapeake Light Craft, and
many others. Her experience has given her a wonderfully diverse
perspective about this industry, as well as extensive knowledge
in audio production. And when it comes to casting, she has an amazing
ability of knowing what producers are looking for.
Kerry
has a BA in Communications from Hofstra University, where she also
minored in Dance. She has been studying dance her entire life, focusing
now on Irish Set Dancing and Sean-nos. She has also recently taken
up sailing and golf - and is still a student in both!

Eric began his voice over
career in the mid 1980s at the number one radio station on the West
Coast, Power 106. “I had been working exclusively on camera
and had never done a voice over, but the production manager at 106
asked me to read some local spots and I was hooked. I’ll never
forget the nervous excitement of that experience!”
In
1989, Eric moved to NYC where he worked on-air for 1010 Wins, WQXR,
Channel 7 Eyewitness News (from the helicopter), News 2, and Fox
5. “The stations wanted someone who could report breaking
news while sounding like a ‘regular guy’ which helped
me make the transition into narration and commercial voice over
work.”

Randye
Kaye

Randye Kaye began her voice-over career as a way to keep acting
while pregnant with her first child – and has been working
behind the microphone ever since. Her credits include commercials
(Kyocera printers, Betteridge Jewelers, Crystal Rock, BigLots,
Dove products), Promos (ESPN, Newborn Channel), audiobooks (fiction,
non-fiction and children’s) phone systems (Priceline.com,
Executone, Digitalks, Intelecare), websites, and narrations (medical,
industrial, educational). She worked on-air in Connecticut radio
(WEZN) for over 15 years, divided between afternoon and morning
drive times, and her body clock is now permanently broken. She
currently can be heard as part-time newscaster and classical music
host on NPR local affiliates WSHU-FM and AM.
Randye has also voice many medical scripts, websites and telephony
for major clients including hospitals (St, Raphael’s in
New Haven, Tanner Health systems in Atlanta), pharmaceuticals

Randye
is also an actress and singer, and works frequently on stage,

across the state. She lives with her boyfriend in Trumbull, CT
where her son and daughter visit often to raid the fridge and

nominee Danielle Quisenberry trained at Edge and couldn’t
be happier to be part of the team. She has worked as voice talent
on radio and television commercials, internet and software narrations,
instructional industrial films, English as a second language programs
and telephony as well as working in the creative and news departments
of two major market radio stations. She is also experienced talent
for live industrial narrations as well as live performance interactive
animation work. Her client list includes, The International BAM
Kids Film Festival, Ematchplay.com, McAfee, McDonalds, Panasonic,
Pearson, People PC, Timex, and Tyco Toys.
She
holds a degree in Acting Performance from The University of Michigan
and a certificate in Radio and Television Production and Performance
from Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts. A twenty year veteran
teacher, coach and facilitator, she has been faculty or an artist
in residence at many performance training facilities in NYC and
nationwide, including the American Place Theatre and LaGuardia
High School for Music, Arts and the Performing Arts where she
recently conducted an introduction to voice over seminar for the
graduating seniors. When out of the booth, she is still in the
studio…the dance studio that is! Teaching and performing

Linda
Jones

Linda has been coaching actor voices for the
last 20 years, and is thrilled to be part of the Edge team.
With
a background in theatre, she has coached voice/speech and dialects
for stage, film and voiceover across the country, from Chicago to
San Francisco to NYC, as well as working privately with students
on speech improvement and accent reduction. She was the resident
speech and dialect coach for Crowded Fire—a critically acclaimed,
nationally recognized theatre company in San Francisco (and was
even given the title of 'Voiceographer' for their award-winning
premiere of Erik Ehn's 'Maid!).
An award-winning performer in her own right, she performed recently
in ...Double Vision for the NYC Fringe, garnering great reviews
and a top-10 'Best of the Fringe' extended run. She has a BFA in
Acting from Ithaca College, studied v/o at Edge Studios (!) and
is a founding member of NYC's HoNkBarK! Productions—with whom
she performs in an ongoing, seasonal cabaret at the Duplex NYC.

Noelle
Romano

Most recently, Noelle served as voice director and talent
supervisor for the PBS animated show "WordWorld". She
has also voice directed projects for The Backyardigans, Go, Diego,

stints on "Blue's Clue's" and it's spin-off, "Blue's
Room", as well as "The Wonder Pets". Noelle has
also served as Head of the Voice Over Department / Voice Over

Nicktoons, Cartoon Network, and AOL kids.
Noelle
is a graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the
Arts with a BFA in Drama and training in voice and speech.
Though Noelle specializes in voice directing animation on the

voice over work. Clients include: Baruch College, Fuji Film, and
Howcast.com among others. As a live performer, she has four years
of stand-up comedy under her belt, and for the past eight years

Sylvia Roldán Dohi started performing as a child
in Hollywood, and has gone on to work in Europe, Asia and throughout
the United States.
Her
abilities are rare in the voice over world - she narrates commercials
and narrations in neutral Spanish AND in neutral English. This
makes her the ideal candidate to record, "For English press
1, para Español oprima numero dos" and television
commercials which are broadcast in both languages. Her voice over
credits encompass cartoons (Captain Kangaroo), ad campaigns (Siempre
Mujer magazine), training films (Medcom's Pediatric Nursing Series,
Columbia University's Anti-HIV Program), Bilingual TV Credits

Snyder

Jay is an actor/director who’s been fortunate enough

Amy Palant is a voiceover artist and singer who has spent thousands
of hours in front of the microphone.
She is a “homegrown” talent who began her voiceover
career at Edge Studio, where she studied with David Goldberg.
In addition to recording and performing in bands all over the
world, Amy has voiced numerous animated characters from features
and series such as “Sonic X,” “Shaman King,”
“Pokemon,” and “Magical DoReMi,” in which
she was the main character, Dorie Goodwyn. Her voice has been
featured on Nickelodeon, Fox TV, and the WB. She specializes in
children’s narration and has worked with Disney, Scholastic,
Weston Woods, Girl Scouts of America, and Acoustiguide. Amy is
also the voice of Tails on Nintendo’s and Sony’s “Sonic
X” video games. She is the voice of the YMCA radio commercials
and is the main vocalist on the children’s CD, “Funkey
Monkeys.”
Amy
divides her time between voiceover and her child psychotherapy
practice in Manhattan and enjoys being the only adult at auditions
filled with actual authentic children.
